So I had my engine built by a shop, supplied most of the parts myself but forgot to buy certain things. Ended up needing new parts since existing ones were in need of replacement. The car was there for a month. I get it back and it overheats, stalls out at decel and coasting, has two boost leaks (one being between the manifolds aka caterpillar gasket), broken shifter bracket bridge, and the battery is dead. Am i too complain and alert everyone I know about the shoddiness of the job? or am I to sit back and take it? Please chime in with your opinions. Keep in mind.. it was not cheap. Think between 4-5k even with me supplying the pistons, rings, ring compressor, block (already decked and honed), rods, 99% of the gaskets, and everything else that would be needed for the most part. Parts I forget to get or didnt : aftermarket hgs after the shop secretary told me stock would work, oil pump, crank gear, and water pump, along with the half moon oil pan seals.
